Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Wordiqoo (wordiqoo.com) handles information when you use our text tools. In short: the text you enter into any tool is processed entirely within your browser and is never sent to, stored on, or seen by our servers.
The text you enter
All of our tools — counting, cleanup, conversion, sorting, and generation — run as code inside your own browser. Your content is not transmitted over the internet for processing. If a tool offers to remember your last text, that text is saved only in your browser’s local storage on your own device, and you can clear it at any time by clearing the tool or your browser data.
Information we collect
We do not require accounts and do not ask for personal information to use the tools. We may collect limited, standard technical information automatically, such as anonymized usage statistics and standard server request logs from our hosting provider, used only to keep the site running and improve it.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser storage for two purposes:
- Functional storage — a small number of settings and, optionally, your last text, all stored locally on your device. Nothing in this list is sent to us or to anyone else. The full list is below.
- Advertising and analytics cookies — set by Google, and covered by the cookie notice. See “Advertising” and “Analytics” below for exactly what is set, and when.
Everything we keep in your browser’s local storage is listed here in full:
- Your theme preference — remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance, so the site looks the way you left it next time you visit.
- Your cookie-consent choice — remembers whether you accepted or declined the cookie notice, so we do not ask you again on every page.
- Your privacy-screen setting — remembers whether you turned on the blur that hides your text from people nearby, so it stays on next time you visit.
- Your last text, per tool — each tool that has a text box keeps a copy of what you last typed into it, so your work is still there if you close the tab or come back later. Each tool remembers its own text separately, and the generator tools keep nothing.
- Your keyword-density options — on the Word Counter, remembers how you set up the keyword-density panel (phrase length, how many results to show, whether to ignore common words, whether capital letters matter, and any words you chose to exclude), so you do not have to set it up again.
We do not use cookies, session storage, or any other browser database of our own — only the local storage entries listed above. You can remove all of it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings, and each tool’s text can be removed on its own with that tool’s Clear button. Removing it resets these preferences to their defaults; nothing else is affected.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may display advertising through Google AdSense. What you see depends on the choice you made in the cookie notice:
- Before you make a choice — ads may already be shown, and they are non-personalized, exactly as described under “If you declined” below. Advertising is not withheld until you answer the notice; what the notice changes is whether ads become personalized.
- If you accepted — you may see personalized ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
- If you declined — you will still see ads, but non-personalized ones. These are selected from the content of the page you are on and general information such as your rough location and your current browsing session, not from your identity or your browsing history. We signal this to Google on every ad request, so it applies to the ads themselves rather than only to what we show you.
Non-personalized ads are not cookie-free: Google still uses cookies for purposes such as limiting how often you see the same ad and for aggregate reporting. This means some advertising cookies may be set before you answer the cookie notice. They are not used to build a profile of you or to target ads at you personally. Personalized advertising is only ever switched on if you actively choose Accept.
Because ads are requested as the page loads, accepting takes effect from the next page you visit — the ads already on screen when you click were requested before your choice was recorded.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can learn about your choices from participating vendors at aboutads.info and Your Online Choices.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools people use and how the site performs. It measures pages and events only — it never receives the text you type into a tool, because that text never leaves your browser at all.
Analytics is governed by the same cookie notice as advertising, but the default is stricter:
- Before you make a choice, and if you declined — Google Analytics runs without cookies. No
_gacookie is set, nothing is stored on your device, and no identifier is created for you. Google receives an anonymous signal that a page was viewed and reports it only as part of an aggregate total. You are counted, but you are not identified and cannot be recognised on a later visit. - If you accepted — Google Analytics sets its usual
_gacookies, which let it recognise the same browser across pages and visits so that sessions and returning-visitor figures can be measured.
Unlike advertising, analytics measurement is only ever switched on by an explicit Accept. Ignoring the notice keeps it cookieless indefinitely. More on how Google uses data: Google’s Privacy & Terms.
Your consent choices
When you first visit, we show a cookie notice. Accepting turns on personalized advertising and cookie-based analytics; declining leaves both off. Declining does not remove ads — it switches them to the non-personalized ads described above, so they are chosen by the page you are reading rather than by anything about you. Ignoring the notice has the same effect as declining: ads stay non-personalized and analytics stays cookieless, and neither becomes personalized or cookie-based unless you choose Accept. Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage, and you can change it at any time by clearing this site’s data, which makes the notice appear again.
Either way, declining does not affect your ability to use the tools, since the tools themselves need no tracking to function, and it never affects the text you enter — that is processed only in your browser regardless of what you choose.
Children’s privacy
Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
